Maxivision Eye Hospital was founded in the year 1996, by Dr. Kasu Prasad Reddy, a stalwart in ophthalmology; an inventor and innovator in the field of Ophthalmology who's highly regarded the world over. Dr. K. P. Reddy is a renowned Ophthalmologist and Surgeon with over 3 decades of yeomen service in rendering the gift of perfect vision to over 2.5 million patients in India and the UK. Maxivision Super Specialty Eye Hospitals is his brainchild. He'd conceived it with a passion for making quality and highly affordable eye care easily available to every citizen of India, from any segment of the society - rural or urban.
Joining hands with Dr. G.S.K. Velu, Founder & Chairman of the Trivitron Health Care Group - manufacturers and suppliers of various diagnostic technologies in health care, the duo visionaries, helped Maxivision Eye Hospitals spread its footprints to various parts of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh. Thereby helping it become the fastest growing national chain providing end-to-end Super Specialty Eye Care Services across the country.

Dr. G.S.K. Velu, man who dreams of making India a self-sufficient nation in terms of medical technology, expertise and quality healthcare. Dr. G.S.K. Velu has been awarded several recognition and has been named as "parallel entrepreneur" by Forbes and "first generation serial entrepreneur" by many renowned institutes & media publications. Dr. G.S.K. Velu' s vision, determination and futuristic approach to make healthcare affordable to one and all made it possible for the tens of thousands of Indians who accessed medical technology, diagnostic services, eye care, dental care and dialysis services which otherwise used to be a very costly affair and hence unaffordable for the common man. Making Healthcare Accessible and Affordable not only to Indian Population but to the underprivileged population across the world is the vision for which he is working for over 28 years from 1988 in the Corporate World. Mr. Sunil Thakur has over 21 years of extensive healthcare investment and transaction experience across the Asia-Pacific market. He has led and executed multi-billion-dollar and award-winning deals across healthcare M&A and Capital Raise in the region. He is part of the leadership team and committees of apex healthcare and pharma industry bodies driving national healthcare policies including NATHEALTH and CII and also serves on the boards of many reputed healthcare companies. Previously, he worked as Director in Religare Capital Markets’ Southeast Asia Investment Banking team, executing M&A and ECM transactions.
Athmanathan Ganesan (A. Ganesan) is presently the Vice-Chairman of Neuberg Diagnostics Private Limited and Chief Executive Officer of Dr. G.S.K. Velu Family Office since 2017. He is also one of the Founders and General Partner of Stakeboat Capital LLP. Earlier, he was a senior Partner in R. Subramanian and company, a leading firm of Chartered Accountants, Chennai. He was actively involved in numerous Industry-oriented initiatives of regulatory bodies such as the Reserve Bank of India, SEBI, and IRDA. He also has vast experience in domestic and international taxation. Mr Ganesan was actively involved in the acquisition and Fundraising activities of Trivitron Healthcare Private Ltd, MaxivisionEye Hospitals Private Ltd and Metropolis Healthcare Ltd. He is presently on the Board of Neuberg Diagnostics Private Ltd, Trivitron Healthcare Private Ltd and Maxivision Hospitals Private Ltd and a few of its subsidiaries. He was also a Director on the Board of Metropolis Healthcare Ltd until 2015. Mr Ganesan is a Chemistry graduate from Madras University and a Fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

Mr. Sudheer brings with him a rich experience of over 20 years in Eye Care Business Management. Most recently he was the Director of Operations with Vasan Eye Care Group, where he worked for 15 years. During his tenure at Vasan, he was responsible for establishing and operating more than 82 eye hospitals across India and Sri Lanka. In particular, he was directly involved as Business Head of 50 eye hospitals in Tamil Nadu and Kerala managing more than 150 Ophthalmologists and 4,000+ Employees. Briefly, he was also involved in establishing Hospitals in North and was part of their Leadership Team.

M.S (Ophtahal) London, Aviation Medicine (Along with British Pilot License) World Renowned & Eminent Laser-assisted Eye Surgery Expert Rare distinction of being the first and the only Indian member of ACOS - American - European Congress of Ophthalmic Surgery First Indian to be designated Authorized Medical Examiner for Civil Aviation Authority from Gatwick Airport, London with over 45000 successful laser surgical procedures spread across 30 years of active practice to his credit, Dr. Kasu Prasad Reddy, Founder and Co-Chairman of Maxivision Eye Hospitals is the foremost laser-assisted eye surgery expert in the country. Qualified from Guntur Medical College, Dr. Reddy accomplished his MS in General Surgery from Stanley Medical college. Having started out as a General surgeon, he left India for UK in 1978. After 4 years of Orthopedics and Accident & Emergency, followed by 1 year of Neurosurgery, in 1983 he eventually chose Ophthalmology as his specialty at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. He then went on to achieve DO from Dublin in 1985 and attained MRC (Ophtho) from London in the year 1986.
Dr. C Sharat Babu is the man who established Sharat Laser Eye Hospital – a NABH certified, and QCI approved eye hospital in the city of Warangal. He is also an expert Cataract Surgeon with more than 25 years of experience in the field. Dr. C Sharat Babu led a team of dedicated super-specialist doctors giving light to over a million patients, and has to his credit for carrying out 1 lakh cataract surgeries by the Phacoemulsification technique. Recently he has joined hands with Maxivision Eye Hospitals, under the joint name – Sharat Maxivision Super Speciality Eye Hospitals, to be the leading eye care network across different locations of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh with a combined experience of 50 years.
Dr. Shibu Varkey has 25 years of experience in Ophthalmology, having achieved unique feats. From his MBBS graduation in 1992 to his FRCS (Glasgow) in 2004, Dr. Shibu has always had a zest to explore the human eye in detail and help people get better vision. He holds a gold medal in his Master of Surgery. He has extensive experience in complex eye surgeries, from Cataract surgery to Squint, Trauma and medical Retina surgeries.
His illustrious career has been marked by breaking records such as completing 1 Lakh cataract surgeries in 2018, being the first eye surgeon in India to attempt cosmetic eye colour change surgery and the first in South India to routinely perform simultaneous bilateral cataract surgery. Dr. Shibu has previously held top positions before joining the Maxivision Group, including Regional Medical Director at the well-known Vasan Eye Care hospital in Trichy. Not to forget his associations with leading eye organisations such as All India Ophthalmic Society and others.
Dr. Vasant Sapovadia first established Netradeep Eye Hospital in 1987 at Upleta and later moved the establishment to Rajkot in 1999. He has pioneered the Ref and Cataract surgeries in Gujarat with the power of his tremendous knowledge and the latest technologies. His passion for Eyecare matches ours like a perfect piece of a puzzle.

A graduate of the University of Madras, he later completed an Executive Education Program from IIM, Ahmedabad. He has worked across different organisations and donned various roles. He had also taken up roles as Managing Director, Sr. General Manager, Promoter and more. His role as the Vice President of Apollo Sugar Clinics is very notable. Mr. Jagadeesh has been in many senior leadership roles at Vasan Healthcare Group. During his tenure at Vasan, he was credited with establishing new branches and bringing innovative changes. He remains a permanent member of the Eye Bank Association of India and was awarded by them in 2014. His experience and skill set bring forth visionary leadership to the Maxivision team.
